Looks like the latest Twisted Metal will live up to its hype, according to the Co Director, testers of the game gave positive feedback and high scores. Here is the full quote:

"Twisted Metal got some great focus/play test scores yesterday! MOSTLY 9/10 and 10/10 scores! And of the VERY FEW lower scores, those were for specific areas of the campaign that know are currently tuned too hard and are fixed in latest build or will be fixed before Feb 14th!"

Twisted Metal will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on February 14th.
