Kojima: Metal Gear Solid 5 has 'vast' multiplayer mode

In an interview with CVG, series creator Hideo Kojima says that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will include a "vast" multiplayer mode.

The new mode will be developed by Kojima Productions, a studio that was recently established in Los Angeles in collaboration with the company's main outfit in japan:

"Yes, we plan on creating Metal Gear Online," Kojima said. "Multiplayer right now is being created at our LA studio as well as us. We're working closely to create a vast multiplayer for all the fans."

Kojima did not comment further on the multiplayer mode.

Metal Gear Solid 5 is currently in development for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, and will feature a vast open world, real-time weather, new stealth gameplay features, and various modes of transportation such as tanks, cars, and even horses. The game will offer "unparalleled stratigic freedom", allowing you to approach situations in many different ways.
