Major Tekken Revolution Update In The Works

Tekken Revolution

Tekken Revolution is getting a major update which includes more difficulty options, a free training mode, skill resets, and more optional extras.

The level cap will be raised from 50 to 60 and the top rank will change from Pugilist to Saviour. Two new characters will be added, Hwoarang and Dragunov. Players will also be able to choose from normal, hard or very hard difficulty for arcade mode, with the more difficult modes giving 1.5x and 2x the rewards of normal, as well as a chance to fight a rare enemy, and enhanced versions of normal enemies.

The update also includes a 'free practice mode' which lets you train without coins. New costumes and premium effects will be available for purchase as well.

The ability to reassign your enhancement points for free is also in, with the first respec being free, and any other reassigns requiring you to purchase a "reset drink".

And lastly, there will be a lot of fixes and rebalancing of the game mechanics.

Check out the official site for more information and the full patch notes.

The patch is on its way to the European PlayStation Network on July 24, 2013, and sometime around July 30 in North America.
