Latest Steam Client Beta Allows Hiding Games From Your Library

A new Steam beta client update has added the ability to finally hide all those games you never play in your games library. This is really useful for those of us who have a bunch of Betas in the library that are obsolete, as well as games you never play. The Steam interface also got an updated look.

In order to get the beta version of the client, click View, then Settings and in the first tab (Account) select "Change" near Beta Participation. This will prompt you to restart steam, and will download the improved beta client. To hide games, simply right click the game, select Set Categories and  tick "Hide this game in my library". Below is the full announcement and client patch notes from Steam.
