Here is a list of the top selling games of the 2000s, combined by Jacob. Nintendo has held a huge role in the most selling games of the 2000s, Nintendo systems held 31 of the 50 top games in this decade. Sony came in at second with 11 of the top selling games of this decade.

That's not to say Xbox has not been a huge player in this decades gaming, with hits like Halo, and the countless other Xbox and 360 titles, all three platforms (Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft) have performed very well in this decade.
