According to Sony Online Entertainment, Everquest 2 is going free-to-play this August.  The entire game will not be free though, the announcement stated that there will be a parallel service offering that is intended to draw in new players and allow the game to grow. Still, for such a great MMORPG, free-to-play sounds great!
