EA has announced that Battlefield 3 has sold a total of 8 million copies worldwide. So far, 12 million copies of the game have been shipped with 10 million being shopped during the first week that Battlefield 3 was released. The game was also EA's biggest launch title in history, selling over 5 million copies within its first week.
