German studio Deck 13 has announced that a new next-gen RPG "Lords of the Fallen" is going to be released for the PlayStation 4, next Xbox and the PC. The game has been in development for about two years and is a cross between Dark Souls and Borderlands, using something similar to the difficulty of Dark souls and a similar skill tree system to Borderlands. According to executive producer Tomasz Gop, the game will be very challenging:

"It’s a challenging game, action RPG, which means a lot of advanced combat. When you walk through a location, and you have to fight 10 enemies, that takes around an hour."

Lords of the Fallen could launch as early as next year but there is no concrete information on the release date.
