Here's some Mario Kart 8 gameplay footage from E3 2013. The game is the eleventh installment in the Mario Kart franchise and the eighth in the main series and is due to be released sometime in Spring 2014 for the Wii U.

Mario Kart 8 features a new Mario Kart TV mode that allows players to use Miverse to share videos of their races and will be compatible with the Wii U GamePad, Wii Remove and Nunchuk, and the Wii Wheel. The game also runs at 60 frames per second.
