Battlefield 4 Could Get PS4 Mouse & Keyboard Support According To Dice

Dice has announced that they are open for allowing mouse and keyboard support for the PS4 version of Battlefield 4.

Speaking with AusGamers, Grondal was asked if Dice would consider supporting mouse and keyboard use with the game, he replied, “We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.”

Would this be a good idea? First-person-shooter games are highly competitive, and having the ability to use a mouse and keyboard over a gamepad is an unfair advantage in my opinion. Now if they could somehow make it so there would be separate games for people who prefer to use gamepads, and for those who prefer a keyboard / mouse combo, then it could possibly work.

What do you guys think? Would adding mouse and keyboard support for a console FPS make any sense?

Battlefield 4 is currently scheduled to be released on October 29, 2013 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
