Here's how to build a tent in the latest version of Terraria.

Step 1: First, gather some wood, craft a hammer and some platforms. Then do like this. You can make it as tall as you want.

Step 2: Use hammer to turn platforms into stairs.

Step 3: Add 2 more platforms just below the top ones. This is needed because you can't make it look right with walls.

Step 4: Add walls. Make sure you don't go over the tent limit (over the stairs) otherwise it will look bad.
