Gearbox Software have announced Borderlands: The-Prequel. The game features four new heroes: Athena, Willhelm, Sheriff, and for the first time, a playable claptrap.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is scheduled to launch this fall for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
