Nintendo has announced that the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. has sold over 490,000 in the first three days. This makes Super Smash Bros. for Wii U the fastest selling game for the system in the US, beating out Mario Kart 8 in the US, but not worldwide as Mario Kart 8 sold 1.2 million units in total.
