FIFA returns powered by Frostbite with a new "Real Player Motion Technology" animation engine which is able to pick up animations every frame, making it fluid and responsive.

Dev Notes about FIFA 18

  • Motion capture was done by Ronaldo.
  • Different animations for running, different for tall, medium and short players. Some will also have completely unique animations.
  • Dribbling animations also updated.
  • New positioning system that allows players to coordinate and support each other.
  • Each team will have Unique gamestyles in career.
  • Crossing has been updated to be more driven.
  • Closer shooting trajectories.
  • More realistic stadium, prop and atmosphere graphics such as sun rays, and other improved effects.
  • The crowd has also been updated. New chants, individual crowd behavior for the most realistic crowd simulation yet in a sports game.

    Some in the crowd will even jump down rows to celebrate with the fans.

  • Year two of hunters in which he will become a more established player. It will pick up where it left off.
