The moment you enter the crime scene, a cop will fill you in on the situation.
Nate Wilkey is the guy who found the abandoned car, Adrian Black is the missing
owner. Walk over to the car and talk with the coroner to get his views on it,
then look inside the car itself. You'll see that it's covered in an absurd
amount of blood.
P.O.I.- F. Morgan; Clue- Receipt for live hog
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Open the trunk of the car and examine the piece of paper inside. It's a receipt
for a live hog made out to one F. Morgan. The trunk is also covered in straw.
P.O.I.- Mrs. Black
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Look on the ground in front of the car. You should find a wallet. Examine the
driver's license. You'll find out the missing man is married. There's also a
picture of the couple in the wallet.
Clue- Glasses
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the ground next to the wallet you'll find some glasses. Tilt them until you
can read the word Stenzel written on the inside. Also note that they've been
taped back together.
Clue- Bloody pipe

If you're standing in front of the car and facing the wallet/glasses on the
ground, go left, across the tracks. There's a bloody pipe over here that you
can pick up. Tilt it to see the Instaheat logo on the side.
Nate Wilkey
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Purpose at scene- Truth
Knowledge of Adrian Black- Truth; Wilkey doesn't know Black, but he does
remember seeing the car parked in a nearby parking
lot a couple of nights ago.
Contents of wallet- Doubt; Wilkey took a look in the wallet, but there was no
money inside.
Bloodstained pipe found- Truth

Clue- Train ticket

Enter the first bedroom and look in the open closet. You'll find a train ticket
and a missing suitcase.
Clue- Glasses case

Look on the dresser in the first bedroom for the glasses case. Open it and
you'll find Stenzel. The case matches the glasses at the crime scene.
Clue- Concealed message
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the dresser by the glasses case you should see a picture frame with Adrian
Black's picture in it. Investigate it further and Cole will find a message
written on the back of the picture from a woman named Nicole. Definitely not
Adrian's wife. Also, if you head into the other bedroom and look at the
picture there, Cole notes that not only are there seperate pictures, but the
couple is sleeping in seperate bedrooms.
Clue/Location- Cavanagh's Bar

Look on the nightstand in the first bedroom. You'll find a matchbook from
Cavanagh's Bar here. There are a few of them scattered throughout the house.
Use a phone to get the address.
Newspaper

You'll find this Newspaper on the dining room table.
Clue- Instaheat receipt

Look on the table in the kitchen for a receipt for a recently installed
Instaheat water heater.
Clue- Instaheat flyer

Laying on the kitchen table next to the receipt. Turn it over and read down.
There's a picture of an assembled water heater here. You might need this.

Go outside and look on the wall next to the kitchen window. You'll find a
disassembled water heater here. You need to put it back together. You can use
the Instaheat flyer for a visual guide, though this puzzle is hardly difficult.
The long copper pipe connects the top box to the wall. The short copper pipe
connects the top box to the bottom box. The steel pipe with two bends in it
connects the top box to the bottom box. The steel pipe with one bend in it
connects the bottom box to the pipe coming out of the ground on the left.
You can see that there's a missing pipe, the same one you found at the crime
scene covered in blood.
Margaret Black

Slaughterhouse receipt- Truth; Frank Morgan works with Adrian Black.
Stenzel glasses case- Truth; Adrian Black just bought new glasses, but the
old glasses were the ones found at the crime scene.
Location of Adrian Black- Truth; Adrian Black came home early from work and
left early for the bar.
Photograph signed 'Nicole'- Lie; Use the concealed message to prove the lie.
Cavanagh's Bar matchbook- Truth; Apparently Adrian Black has been away on
business quite a bit recently.
Alibi for Mrs. Black- Truth

Clue- Swine blood

Not really necessary at this point, but if you're in the police car, you
should get a call over the radio after you leave Cavanagh's Bar telling you
that the blood inside the car isn't human. It's swine.
Morgan's Apartment is number 2, so head on up. After the cutscene, Black runs
away, so chase him out onto the fire escape and up onto the rooftop. Shortly
after Black gets back on the ground again, your partner will cut him off in
the car, closing this case.

Location- Pattison Residence

Look in the victim's right jacket pocket for his wallet. Examine the driver's
license.
Clue- Insurance letter
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Look in the victim's left jacket pocket. You'll find a letter regarding his
life insurance. Seems his plan was upgraded, and he wasn't too happy about it,
for some reason.
Clue- Coroner's report
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Obtained after looking over the body. The victim was intoxicated to some
extent, and there's a wound in his chest, possibly caused by the hood
ornament of the car.
You can also examine the blood stains and the skid marks, though they only
offer insight, not clues.
Clue- Bloody knife
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Look in one of the trash cans in the alley to the left of the bar. You'll find
a bloody knife. Tilt it to get a good look at it. You'll get an achievement
for finding the knife on your first sweep of the crime scene.
Shannon Perry

Eyewitness report- Truth; There was an argument going on downstairs in the
bar.
Suspect vehicle description- Truth; The car was a dark red Lincoln Continental.
You also get a partial license plate. Use a phone
to get the owner of the car, William Shelton.
Argument overheard- Doubt; The argument was between the victim and his wife.

the letter.
After you talk to Mrs. Pattison, use a phone or gamewell to check for messages.
The coroner has something you need to see.

Clue- Pattison stabbed

Talk to the coroner. Turns out that Mr. Pattison was already dead when he was
pushed in front of the car. Stabbed three times. Explains the chest wound and
the life insurance.

After the cutscene you'll have to chase Shelton in your car. It shouldn't take
long to bring him to a stop. Just keep bashing his car with your car. Try to
spin him out. Be mindful of the damage you're doing to everything else,
though, or you risk lowering your star rating for this case.

After the cutscene, you'll have to chase down Sabo. You can fire off a warning
shot if you can keep your reticule on him long enough, or you can just shoot
him. If he makes it far enough, he'll take a hostage. You'll need to time
your shot very carefully to hit him and not the hostage. Either way, once you
take him down, the case is closed.

Talk to the coroner. He'll show you the prop and tell you that it was wedging
the accelerator to the floor. Tilt it to get a good look at it.

Just after you finish talking with Jessica, you'll notice June Ballard leaving
the hospital already. Tail her in your car. Keep your distance, but don't fall
too far behind. Also, reckless driving will get you noticed. Once she pulls up
to the cafe, get out and take cover at the door. Wait until she stops looking
around and gets on the phone. Enter the cafe and sit down at the second booth
on your left, the one with the newspaper. You'll go incognito and she won't be
able to spot you. Listen in on the conversation to get a new location- Mark
Bishop's apartment.

Clue- $20,000 check

Head through the first door on your left. You'll be in a bedroom. Look on the
floor next to the window for the check. It's from Mark Bishop to Lorna Hopgood.
Clue- Saddle

You'll find this at the beginning of the hallway. It's hard to miss. A big
saddle for Mark Bishop for his film "Gay Cowboys". It's from Silver Screen
Props.
Clue- Movie set replica

Go through the second door on the left and look on the counter. This is hard
to miss.

Just left of the movie set replica you'll find this. It's a picture of the set
of Intolerance, a new movie being made.

On the cabinet in the same room as Gloria Bishop. It's on the other side of the
wall from the movie set replica. This picture also has a building with a
mermaid on it.

Check for $20,000- Lie; Use the $20,000 check to prove the lie. This gives you
a new clue- blackmail.

When Marlon leads you to the sound stage, check out the mirror on the left
wall. When the lights are turned off, you can see that it's a one way mirror.
You'll check out the room on the other side here in a minute.
Clue- Chloral hydrate

In the sound stage, look on the metal shelf in the corner for a bottle of
pills. These are the same ones used to dope Jessica Hamilton.
Newspaper
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Head back outside and go left when you get the chance. There's an area here
with work tables and dumpsters. Look on the table opposite the dumpsters for
this Newspaper.
Clue- Prop shrunken head molds
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the same area as the Newspaper. Look on the table without the Newspaper on
it for some shrunken head props without the stands. Tilt one of them around to
get a better look at it.
Now look to the right of the dumpsters in this little nook. In the corner,
there's a wall painted to look like an alley. You can investigate it and kick
it open. There's an actual alley behind it. Enter the door to get into the
secret room looking into the sound stage.
Clue- Film reel; Clue- Bishop's whereabouts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the secret camera room, look on the metal shelves for a film reel with an
obvious orange label on it. Tilt it to examine the label and you'll discover
another location where you might find Mark Bishop- the Jungle Drums set.
Clue- Empty film canister
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the wooden cabinet next to the previous film reel, you'll find another
film reel. Tilt it to read Mark Bishop and Jessica Hamilton's names, then open
it. The actual film is gone.
Not important, but there's another hole in this room that lets you look into
the bathroom. These guys really didn't want to miss anything.
Marlon Hopgood

Association with Bishop- Lie; Use the chloral hydrate to prove the lie.
Whereabouts of Bishop- Truth
Relationship with Ballard- Lie; Use the empty film canister to prove the lie.
Turns out Ballard took the film of Bishop and
Hamilton and is using it to blackmail him.
Evidence of blackmail- Lie; Use the $20,000 check to prove the lie.
After you finish questioning Hopgood and leave the building, you'll have two
cars of gangsters chasing you and trying to shoot you to hell. You can try to
run away from them, or you can take them out of commission by bashing them into
stuff.

|'Jungle Drums' Set|
_______________________________________________________________________________
At the set you find Mark Bishop. He'll run off and you'll be forced to chase
him all the way to the top of the set. Once you catch him, the hit squad shows
up to take Bishop out. You'll need to protect him as you both climb back down
the set. Keep an eye out for red barrels. They'll explode if you shoot them.
You'll have to fight a lot of enemies on your way down. At the bottom, you'll
take on a large force of baddies. To take them all down quickly, look up and
to your right. There's a guy shooting at you from a platform with explosive
barrels all over it. Shoot one of the barrels to blow the whole thing up. The
large statue thing will fall on the guys below. Continue dealing with the
enemies and eventually back up will arrive. Taking out the last of McAfee's
guys closes this case up and gets you promoted to homicide.
