You'll start the game off in a police car. Drive to the location marked with
the yellow flag on your mini-map. When you actually enter the crime scene,
some low key investigative background music will come up. As long as this
music is playing, you haven't found everything that you can find in the crime
scene. When you get close to something you can investigate, you'll hear a
chime and your controller will vibrate. Press A to pick it up. A lot of things
are useless and irrelevant, but there are always clues scattered amongst the
garbage.
Newspaper

Keep walking down the alleyway until you see some crates stacked up against the
wall to your right, next to some stairs. Your partner will stand next to them
for a few seconds. The Newspaper is on one of the crates. Reading these
contributes to having 100% game completion, but they also offer some insight
into the activities of Dr. Fontaine, a figure that will become integral to
your investigations later in the game.
Clue- Bloodstain

Your partner spots a bloodstain on the ground and the door at the back of the
alleyway.
Clue- Smith & Wesson revolver

From the bloodstain, go left and head down the alley here for a second. Press
A when your controller vibrates and Cole will look up. You can see a gun on
the rooftop to your left via the reflection in the window. Keep going and
you'll find a pipe on the side of the building that you can climb up. Inspect
the gun once you're on the roof and tilt the gun on its side so you can read
the serial number. Push A to investigate it further and you'll find that two
shots have been fired.

Person of Interest(P.O.I.)- Errol Schroeder

You're looking for a Model 27 revolver with pearl grips. You can find it on
the second page, fifth from the top.

|Schroeder's Apartment|
_______________________________________________________________________________
After you enter the apartment, look to your right. On the wall you'll find
mailboxes. Schroeder lives in Apartment 2. Head up there. After the cutscene
you'll have to brawl with Schroeder. Press A to throw a punch and X to dodge.
Y performs a grapple attack.
Clue- Schroeder's Notebook

Look in the open drawer for this. Open it and you'll find a bunch of names.
Turn the page to find even more names, including Floyd Rose, one of the
asshole detectives from earlier. Reading this closes the case.
Armed and Dangerous

As soon as you arrive you'll be engaged in a firefight. Pay attention to the
tips in the top left corner. Take down the first two guys outside and then
move inside the building, to the first set of pillars. There are two more guys
inside, one behind a pillar on the left, and one at the back of the room
behind a desk. After they're down, one last enemy shows up on the second floor.
Take him out to close this case.
Warrants Outstanding
(Page Top)All you have to do in this case is chase the fleeing suspect. When you get to
an obstacle that you can mount, just keep running towards it to do so
automatically. You'll chase him up onto a rooftop. He'll catch you off guard
and then you'll have to fight him. Beat him down to close this case.
Buyer Beware

Clue- Layaway voucher

Check the left jacket pocket of the victim to find this clue. It's a layaway
voucher for some pearl earrings purchased by one C. Galleta.
Clue- .32 shell casings

Look on the sidewalk next to the road, near the cop car. There are some shell
casings laying here.
Clue- FN Browning handgun
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a trash bin nearby, on the sidewalk. Look inside of it to find the
handgun. Tilt it to read the serial number.
Clovis Galleta
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can talk to a guy standing outside in a red shirt. He says that a woman
ran into the shoe store. Alternatively, you can just go into the shoe store
and start talking to the woman.
Eyewitness account- Lie; The Layaway voucher in Gage's pocket proves that she
knows more than she's letting on.
Possible murder suspect- Doubt; You will get a positive identification on the
shooter, Edgar Kalou. You'll also receive a clue about
a possible religious motive.

Clue- Murder weapon serviced

As soon as you walk into the gun store you'll enter a cutscene with the owner.
He tells you that Edgar Kalou brought the FN Browning in to be cleaned and
serviced a couple of weeks earlier, and bought some cartridges.

Edgar Kalou quickly takes off on foot and you'll be forced to chase him down.
It shouldn't take you long, though. When you get a good long line of sight on
him, aim your gun at him. A meter around the reticule will fill up, and once
it does, Cole will fire off a warning shot that stops the suspect immediately.

Edgar Kalou

Argument with Gage- Lie; The suspect was positively identified by Clovis
Galleta.
Possible religious motive- Doubt
After this, you charge Kalou with murder. This closes the case and gets you a
promotion.
